Keep in Mind – The ONLY absolutely essential items are;
– Your Passport / Travel Docs / Money (ATM/Crt.Cds.) / Rx’s

– You can easily replenish a lost or depleted (clothing, toiletry, etc..) item—locally…
– Emphasis towards lightweight/tightly-packable/quick & easy to wash n’ dry polypropylene/nylon/wool (best)/silk clothing items (LAYERS)
– Less pack weight & bulk is ALWAYS better! Ideal max total pack weight = low to mid 20 lb range (+/- dependent on climate & traveler’s stature)
– Now, this suggestion is partly philosophical, but mostly practical — For the sake of reducing bulk & weight, and, most importantly, simplifying your journey —- try to minimize the amount of electronics & tech gear you bring along….
